Andy’s yoga sessions are simply the best! Every single week he seems to know exactly what I need, it’s uncanny. He also always explains benefits of exercises and postures which I really appreciate. Andy is extremely understanding and supportive, I am absolutely convinced that he has, and continues to, help me speed up my recovery from a quite severe illness. If you are lucky enough to get to have sessions with Andy you’ll know exactly what I mean. Highly recommended!

Andy’s classes are brilliant for so many reasons. For people who struggle with coordination (like me) his progressive building up of postures helps with confidence and calmness to reach more challenging postures. I also really like the way Andy works with ground, kneeling and standing sequences then brings us back to the ground again – gives the body time to warm up and familiarise going in a direction or position before increasing in intensity. His world music selection is awesome too – really supports being in the flow zone at a gentle steady pace. Totally recommended

I really enjoy my weekly yoga sessions with Andy. He is an excellent instructor who communicates clearly and with clarity. He explains the benfits of the movements we make and how subtle postures can improve our strength and stretch. I like his philosophy on exercise: despite our hectic lives he reminds us to acknowledge we have given ourselves time to practice and to allow ourselves to put other distractions to one side. There are no barriers to learning via the remote platform. Highly recommended.

About me
I have practiced yoga for many years and have felt the benefits to my daily life. I decided to qualify as a teacher to share and offer to others what I have gained from amazing teachers and practice. I trained with Himalaya Yoga Valley under the tutelage of Lalit Kumar. This immersed me into the traditional aspects of yoga, studying the eight limbs of ashtanga and the many philosophies and practices including asana, meditation, pranayama, and anatomy. This tradition and lineage is a key focus of my teaching and a defining aspect of each class of Tree and Leaf Yoga.
My aim is to share the benefits of yoga with everyone: from opening the door for beginners through to extending experienced practitioners to deepen their practice. Having worked with children, young people and adults who have special educational needs and or disabilities, it’s a heart felt and personal aspect of my practice to offer yoga to all.

Why is Tree and Leaf Yoga special?
I offer Special Yoga, chair, therapeutic and mindful yoga, including meditation and yoga nidra (deep relaxation) as well as everyday flow classes.
Sessions can be tailored to individual needs such as mental or neurological conditions that restrict movement, co-ordination and mobility as well as those with anxiety and mental health conditions.
Whatever your ability, challenge or personal circumstance there is a Tree and Leaf Yoga class for you.
Whether you wish to practice in a group, 1:1 or would like a specific therapeutic practice, Tree and Leaf Yoga can support your needs.
I currently work with special needs schools and individual adults in a range of settings. It’s always a pleasure and joy to share yoga with such amazing people both young and old. Please get in touch and let me know how Tree and Leaf Yoga can support you.
